Hello. It's Belinda.
Boo!
Did you jump?
I did.
It's the "jumpy" time of year. Halloween season.
And that means it's time for a fun photo blog.
Do you have a favorite photo of yourself or your roommate having some Halloween fun? By roommate I mean human, rabbit, guinea pig or "whomever."
Having fun might be posing beside a scary jack-o'-lantern.
Or wearing a "hay hat" costume.
Or "creeping around" behind the couch like a werewolf.
Does your roommate give you a special Halloween treat? I want to see it.
Halloween is fun. So please share your photos with me.
Just let me know the name of anyone in your photo and what they're doing. Send it to [email protected]
I'll include as many as I can in my blog on October 25.
Speaking of Sunday, October 25. That's Midwest BunFest day. And I have an important update about that.
The education sessions have been posted on the website. Veterinarians and other "rabbit people" are speaking on a variety of important topics, such as liver lobe torsions, ear infections, GI stasis, bloat and obesity.
And here's one you won't want to miss: "Best Friends Forever: Bonding Rabbits."
My roommate tried bonding me to the English. Can you imagine.
See details about the education sessions schedule and speakers here.
If you live anywhere near Columbus, Ohio, I hope you can make it to Midwest BunFest. Be sure to stop by the Small Pet Select booth for some free samples.
One more nice bit of news before we close. This one is about Merlot the novelist's fundraising project for The Rabbit Haven.
I wrote about it a few weeks ago.
Merlot's goal is to raise $1 from each of the people who follow The Rabbit Haven on Facebook. Thanks to all of you pitching in after reading my blog, the total amount raised has doubled to $3,200.
"Way to go," Merlot and friends. Every dime of that money will help homeless rabbits to get vet care, nutritious food and other things they need.
OK that's all for now. Thanks for reading my blog.
I can't wait to see your spooky Halloween photos.
Sincerely,
Belinda
